麦畑の周囲の黄色い草 曽根原家住宅前
曽根原家住宅前の麦畑の周囲に黄色い草が生え、ちょっと綺麗と言うか、この時期としては、こんな光景は見た事がなかったので、足がとまりました。
近くで農作業をしていたおじさんに、この黄色い草は何かと尋ねると、畑から飛散した麦だそうで、そこに除草剤を撒いた為に黄色く変色してるってことでした。見ると、ナズナ以外の雑草はみな枯れちゃってましたから、麦って、なかなか強いんですね。それとも、麦にはあまり反応しない除草剤なんだろうか・・・。なんにしても、ちょっと、おもしろい光景です。(^^;
ちなみに、曽根原家住宅は長野県中信地区特有の「本棟造り」で一番古い建物として、国の重要文化財に指定されとります。(^^)

This is a old farmhouse which is the traditional style of building called “Honmune – zukuri”. It’s the Japanese oldest as a house of this style. And, that’s designated as a national important cultural asset.A field in front of this house is wheat field, and yellow grass grows around it. There were no cases that I saw such grass in this season. I wondered and asked a farmer around here about this grass.
And, I undestood that this grass is the wheat scattered on the banks of the field. It’s said that it’s discoloring in such yellow because a herbicide was scattered on the banks of the field. It is a interesting view.
